Right now most of my close friends are having a party and whether it was on purpose or not, somehow I didn't manage to get invited!

Same old whiny complaint you've heard 1000 times before from a lonely kid at home on a Saturday night? Not quite.

Because I refuse to sit at home like the bitter, betrayed, forgotten friend.

Time to make my own fun and let go of these nerds.

MP3 player? Check!
Spending money for spiteful and compulsive purchases? Check!
Trench coat and sunglasses should I decide to see a movie alone? ...Err, I think we'll leave these at home.

oh, oh. Please tell me you do actually have trench-coat. They're awesome and so very hot.

And yeah I've been in this situation many, many times myself, the thing is it's semi-close friends holding the shindig and I feel I probably deserve an invite but figure their might be a reason I didn't get one and it would be rude to show up without prior notice. That or it is actual close friends and I just wasn't told at all.
Then on monday they all say to me (in both cases) "Hey why weren't you there on Saturday? It was great."
To which I simply reply "Because no one told me!"

Very frustrating!

Aww shucks!

That's the worst thing.
I recently felt someone excluded by so called friends.

They actually avoided telling me and when I asked, a certain someone was *unable to make eyecontact*.

Guilty conscience, much?

No, I was supposed to be told but just forgotten about. I wouldn't mind it so much if it didn't happen in someway or other every damn weekend!
