well my stupid car finally showed its age today. 87000km (ive done 4000 on it lol)

stupid thing is now leaking oil from a leaking gasket, and now coolant has got into the oil, so now it smoking, and has created carbon, which has clogged up the spark plugs, and now its down to a 3 cylinder that uses uber amounts of fuel, and has no power.

oh and not to mention it has a massive engine shake now.

so somehow i goto get it into work, so i can get it fixed, which if it struggled to get home, then i doubt ill make it when it is going to be freezing cold again tomorrow morning.

its been such a good little car, and now this. guess it doesnt like my music. mind u the prev owner must have been a granny or something, because i keep finding the air freshener bottle things, im now up to 8, and i dont no where they are comming from, lol.

anyone able to give me a push to work tomorrow lol, i feel like it will conk out half way there sleep.gif

naa just turned out to be a spark lead was shorting, and not reaching the spark itself, easy job to fix.

and the oil leak, is a rocket cover leaking from one of the bolts, and is only sweating from when it goes from hot to cold, then condensates and drips. no point in changing the rocket cover.

other then it needs a clutch fluid flush (coz there is fuck all clutch left coz the fluid is black as hell)

it is a really good car, and being a hyandai its reliable providing u keep it serviced (not like a toyota where u dont have to service it to not break down)

its a 98 hyandai lantra, silver.

drives really well, (except clutch has alota freeplay in it lol) and its got a really good sound system in it even though its stock standard, and i made it sound like it has subs, which it kinda, doesnt.

however, its a good little car, just goto wash my rear window aswell, cant really see outa it. damn dirt... *shakes fist*

loz, how about i take u for a drive in my apparent "pile of junk" and you can decide for yourself then eh.

all cars are a peice of junk when something happens to them, or is standard with any daewoo, or french built cars. except peugot, they are worse then junk.

When my brother was a little kid, he washed the rear windscreen once. With a banana.
Anyway, aside from that, I'm glad your car seems be not so badly damaged as you thought. Hope it keeps running well until at least the 100 000 km mark!
