well you CHOSE to have the tongue peircing. It sucks that you are in pain. So I hope your tongue gets better soon. But there are people out there who have no choice and are in pain all the time.. I know what that feels like. You start to ignore pain after a while.
I'm not in much pain anymore Sometimes you think you are in pain but you actually aren't. Because you expect to be in pain. That's what I have learned. And the quicker you go: ok I am in pain, but really it isn't that much, you start to ignore it and feel nothing at all maybe you need some neurofin gel to stick on your tongue. |
You have a lot of taste receptors in your tongue, and as a result, a whole lot of nerves (that also control the muscle movement). I am not surprised that you are in pain. However you brought the pain apon yourself so I do not have a lot of sympathy. As for the lisp well.... the piercing is added and your tongue/mouth, etc is not used to its existance so has to ulter the way it works. The lisp will probs go away... but it could be there forever. The food... I think thats an obvious one.
I hope the pain goes away.. it should eventually. Eat softer foods for a while and it should be better. |
Alrighty, whining stopped. It's still sore but a comfortable kind of sore.
I always forget how annoying new piercings are. |
