Recently my friend joined a socialist group, which is very intensive in the protection of womyn’s rights. She is finding a lot of prejudice from these particular feminist extremists, who look upon a woman having a relationship with a male to be letting down the team and against feminist ideals. I’m so sick of this attitude, spread by people so invested in their ideals they can’t see that they are encouraging other negative prejudices and broad generalisations. If I hear one more person lump all men into one category, in which we are all the oppressors, all jocks, all with masculine control complexes. I’m all for seeking women’s rights, But not for diminishing those of others. When can we stop have feminism and just have humanism, stop setting up these divisions which instantly require segregation to function.

You make it seem as though only women go to effort to be noticed by the opposite sex anyway. Men have more power (generally) and women use men to get stuff...it all evens out in the end lol.

But lets not go into a deep psychological discussion about gender and social/mental expectations.
