Alright before I begin, a little background here: I live off toast. I have about 8 slices a day, my Toaster is named and is treated almost like a member of the family, I have this nack I have developed so that I know when the toast is just right. In short; I love toast.
So anyway, I just spent the last three days really quite sick. Living in a bed, only drinking water and throwing up a fair bit. I'm now almost recovered (still got a bit of a headache) and as you can probably imagine I'm hungry. Ah, simple solution; Toast! I cook it, butter it, then try to eat it; and scream in pain as it cuts up my mouth.
You see while I was sick my mouth has become really tender and a slightly bruised the hard jagged sharp bits on toast don't agree with my mouth any more.
This sucks, I need my toast. I've just gone 3 days without it!

A further reason as to why we need a food section!
I feel your pain, Fedora_Pirate.
I needed my bottled apple juice. I haven't had it since last Monday. But they didn't have it...
Think positive - tomorrow is another day! Another day in which who knows, your mouth may accept the toast you crave, and my luck might just enable me to have my sweet, sweet bottled delight. Yummy.

Just wait a few more days and Im sure you can eat your toast soon again =]
But dont push it, cus if you eat it too soon you might hurt it more and then prevent you from eating it sooner =]

Im meant to get my wisdom teeth out but
1. I have zero pain tolerance and the thought of having sharp pointy things jabbed into me isnt appealing
2. i don't have the time

trust me. the pain of having your wisdoms out is better than the pain of having your wisdoms come up the wrong way and messing with your other teeth and your jaw. find the time. do it before its too late.
