I loved Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, but their first album really did suck the cock. Let's hope that they can carry through the wonderful harmonies from TCSR into their next album. What I really loved about TCRS was the way that they integrated the guitar distortion and the lead singer's 'whine' (for lack of a better word. in fact that word makes his voice sound bad, but it isn't) voice to make a brilliant sound. (See Helena, Thank You For The Venom and Cemetery Drive)

That i have to strongly disagree with. Bullets may have had them all over the place but have they ever, EVER produced such emotionally powered music as Demolition Lovers? Or Early Sunsets Over Monroeville?

Sure, Revenge was a brilliant album (some songs better than others *cough*imnotokay*cough*). The raw sound in Revenge matches the raw emotion in Bullets.

THAT is why I love Welcome To The Black Parade so much. Its a perfect balance of the old school MCR that I fell in love with and the new school MCR that has that incredible sound.

So don't bag them.

Bullets absolutely sucks. The music is shit, there is little to no variation of keys. No intonation, shitty chord progression etc. All the hallmarks of a fucking shitty album. I"m sorry that I had to say it, but Bullets really was a shitty album. Get over it, MCR aren't legends. They produced one good album, and as far as it seems, another good single.

The first 1:50 of Black Parade suck the fucking cock. Jesus fuck, what are they thinking? After that, it gets much better, but still, I mean what the fuck were they doing? That was the pussiest piece of crap music I've ever heard in my life. Even, dare I say it, worse than Simple Plan.

Having said that, the last couple of minutes were very nice. The screaming riff that lead into it put a smile on my face (which was a welcome change from the horror etched onto my face). And is that seriously Bob Bryar on the drums? I think that's the best I've ever heard him drum. I wouldn't mind hearing more of that!

I like Bob, Jo. Well, I do now. I think he ruined Thank You For The Venom with his stupid irregular drumming. It just didn't fit with the song. But hey, he really dictated the beat in Black Parade. It was awesome.

Despite initial scepticism I also heart the new album, even though i didnt like their old ones

So far all I can add to this thread is that I heard Welcome to The Black Parade on Rage at one stage, sounded pretty cool but nothing brilliant. Then the drums started going all awesome and it was great. Err, yeah that is all.

Insanely loving this album, more so than the other two albums I think!

Dead, Disenchanted, and Famous Last Words are definitely favorites.

Welcome To The Black Parade is okay... I have to admit I loved it for awhile. But after listening to the rest of the album non-stop... Its not up the top anymore.
