It's on tonight on SBS in Australia, no idea if it's any good but I just think it's an interesting premise for a documentry to take.
Do Communists Have Better Sex?
QUOTE
According to this documentary, East Germans have twice as much sex, start much younger, have more partners, are more experimental and are more satisfied then their capitalist counterparts. When the Iron Curtain came down, 40 years of division left its mark in many places - including the beds of the German people. At the end of World War II, the starting point was the same on both sides of the wall. Germans shared the same culture, the same lifestyle, the same morals, but four decades on everything has changed. Why? Was it the lack of church and easy availability of divorce and abortion? Filmmaker André Meier uses archive material such as state education films, locally produced porn magazines and East German home videos to compare both systems based on their dealings with sex. Meier discovers which Germans are cooler, more advanced, less inhibited and less prudish in the bedroom.

Well they are 'under the bed' a lot wink.gif

Damn communists.
kiki
communists are red.
red cars goes faster.
red is the colour of coke.
red is the colour of lighter.
red is the colour of my car.
red is the colour of my favourite shirt.
therefore, one must logically assume that red is the colour of the best sex - hence, communists have better sex.

There is another strange one on tonight, again on SBS:
Penis Dementia: The Search for the Perfect Penis
QUOTE
Penis obsession might have more to do with what it has come to represent than what it actually does. As a main signifier of maleness, the penis has come to epitomise sexual and social power. For many men, the penis is the centre of their being, if not their universe. And for just as many men, at some time in their lives it might function in a less-than-perfect manner, leading to great anxiety... and trouble. Things would be a lot easier if every man had a perfect penis. But is there such a thing? Once and for all, it's time to search for the perfect penis.

Another one, not quote as strange but still looks interesting. Once again on SBS.
Secrets - A Film About Teen Sexuality
QUOTE
In a world of hyper sexualised media and shifting sexual ethics, new norms of teenage sex have developed. Teenagers discuss the new casual sex revolution, what it means to "hook up" and who are "friends with benefits"? The teenagers talk about when friends decide to sleep together with no emotional commitment. The documentary is a frank and provocative exposé of the new norms of teenage sexuality and features expert sex educator Saleema Noon.

Turn Me On: The History of the Vibrator
QUOTE
This program explores the history of the vibrator. Through a group of sexpert characters, the documentary uncovers the socially camouflaged sex toy - hidden in the underwear drawer since it was invented over 120 years ago. This program reveals a social and sexual history that some people would prefer remained a secret.

Opps, I let one slip past my radar: When Two Won't Do, it was on last friday, 10pm on SBS.
QUOTE
The word polyamory has its etymology in the Greek "poly", meaning "many", and the Latin "amor", meaning "love". This is a documentary by Montreal filmmakers Maureen Marovitch and David Finch. Maureen wants an open relationship, while David is a staunch monogamist. Maureen feels she cannot commit to David because she finds she can, and does, love more than one person at a time, which, besides David, includes Will and his wife, as well as Craig. David tries hard to appease her by embracing her polyamory, but, ultimately, cannot reconcile himself with the concept, remaining hell-bent on monogamy. Along the way, the couple will learn, on-camera, just how open their hard won relationship can be, before it begins to tear apart at the seams.

I wonder who makes all these.

I hope they never show it on public television, but The Fight to be Male is a really nasty documentary on different disorders that can happen - little girls turning into little boys, hermaphrodites, and other nasty things like that. I reccomend against watching it unless you have a strong stomach for these things.

I remember my science teacher showing us that while we were doing genetics!

That's what happened to us in year 9 or 10. I don't want to remember the details.

The Art of Picking Up in Paris
QUOTE
Sophie lives in Paris. She's 28, single and desperately trying to meet Mr Perfect. To help her on her quest, she decides to get some tips from local experts of both sexes on the art of picking up. She meets a diverse bunch of Parisians, straight and gay, who all have their particular techniques for wooing the opposite (or same) sex. Sherif operates on the Champs Elysées, but dreams of eventually marrying a nice Muslim virgin. Philippe relies on his Porsche and macho good looks to impress ladies - and it seems to work. But what he's really looking for is a shoulder to cry on. Boys or girls on the prowl mostly end up alone and depressed.
